Marc by Marc Jacobs Party Girl Bow Bag
Is anyone else already thinking about holiday parties? It’s not like I ever go to that many anyway, but I think it is fun to look at all the cute little evening bags everyone is wearing. Well I came across this one today, and I have to say it is just darling. Meet the Marc by Marc Jacobs Party Girl Bow Bag. It has a black tulle overlay with metallic silver fabric underneath. Shop Bop describes it as ’80s glam. But do you know what it reminds me of? When I look at this bag, I think of those little pillbox hats from the ’50s and ’60s. I just love how soft and floaty this bag is. It sort of even reminds me of a butterfly. So cute! But, again, only for a holiday party!
The Marc by Marc Jacobs Party Girl Bow Bag is currently available in Anthracite. It measures 12″ x 5.5″ x 1″ and has a dainty chain strap with an 11″ drop. Christian Louboutin Loubette Small Leather Shoulder Bag
Christian Louboutin has always been known for his gorgeous red bottom heels, but people rarely ever talk about Christian Louboutin handbags. Perhaps it’s because the heels are absolutely stunning from every angle, that they over shadow the handbags. Just like the heels though the handbags come with a big price tag. One of the Christian Louboutin handbags I think is unique, but also on the outrageous side, is the Loubette Small Leather Shoulder Bag. Ironically, the most gorgeous part of this handbag is the lady heel snap closure. It’s not rare to see a snap closure on a handbag but it is rare to see a snap closure in the shape of heels. A snap closure in the shape of a pair of heels does accent a handbag very well especially when it’s by one of the most popular shoe designers’ in the world. The Christian Louboutin Loubette Shoulder Bag does come in leather and conviently has two exterior zip pockets on the front to fit any extra goodies you may have. Another thing that I think is so amazing about this handbag is how the straps can be worn two ways. This handbag can either be worn with the long shoulder strap, or the shoulder strap can be placed around the handbag and be worn as a satchel. Either way you choose to wear the handbag it will look stunning from strap to base.
The Christian Louboutin Loubette Small Leather Shoulder Bag comes in both black and pink. I personally am in love with the handbag in pink but the black is equally just as fabulous. The only problem with this handbag is the overly high price. The Christian Louboutin Loubette Small Leather Shoulder Bag has a price tag $1,650. Scary price, but oh so cute handbag.
Marc by Marc Jacobs Quilted Lydia Lock It Up Purse
Marc Jacobs is at it again! Pictured above is just one of his many new creations. Introducing the Marc by Marc Jacobs Lock It Up Quilted Lydia Bag. It’s big, it’s bold, and it’s… blue. I guess Marc decided to actually go for a color other than dark purple (which, as we all know, is oh-so hot for this coming Fall season). Don’t get me wrong. I think dark blue is a great color, especially when it comes to handbags. However, I don’t feel that the style of this Lock It Up Quilted Lydia Bag is as appealing as the Lock It Up styles of the past. For example, the Lock It Up Magazine Clutch was simply adorable (read about it here: Marc by Marc Jacobs Lock It Up Magazine Clutch). This new style has the same adorable little lock on the front, but I personally do not care for the overall shape of the bag. To be honest, the shape reminds me of the back of a chair (you know, the kind you would find in a restaurant). Yep, this one definitely is different!
The Marc by Marc Jacobs Lock It Up Quilted Lydia Bag measures 13″ x 17″ x 4″, which may be large enough to actually hold a laptop. The bag is constructed of quilted nubuck with contrasting leather trim. And don’t let the cut-out handle deceive you, the top of the bag actually opens up very wide, thanks to its wraparound zipper. It retails for $528.

Versace Croc Embossed Patent Handbag
have always loved the Versace Leather Satchel in just about every color. It has always reminded me of the Louis Vuitton Multicolore Speedy 30, which is one of my favorite handbags in the world. Like the Multicolore Speedy, the Versace Croc Embossed Patent Leather Satchel has detail all over it. The handbag has two beautiful logo-detailed locks on the front and side of the bag, ironically just like the Louis Vuitton Multicolore Speedy. One aspect this handbag has beat over the Speedy is the protective feet on the “bottom” of the bag. Yes, the Speedy has feet on the angles, but they are prone to scratches and are visible to the fashionista’s eye. The satchel comes in a beautiful Navy blue color, but it is patent leather. In other words, this handbag is very fragile due to patent leather scuffing so easily.
All in all, the Versace Croc Embossed Patent Leather Satchel is a gorgeous handbag but it comes with a not so gorgeous price. Versace has always been known for it’s high-fashion items and this handbag is no exception. The Versace Croc Embossed Patent Leather Satchel has a retail price of $2,665. Very high price, but you would be surprised how many women snatch these handbags up every season when a new color comes out. Juicy Couture Lock Gossip Hobo Bag
I have never been one to think that Juicy Couture handbags were stylish but, as I said before, lately they have been doing a fabulous job in the purse designing department. I pretty much never carry a hobo or shoulder bag for that matter, but the Juicy Couture Lock Gossip Hobo bag is one of the few hobo-like handbags that I make an exception for. What struck me about this handbag is the beautiful structure of the leather. The leather is shaped in a diagonal pattern and is just absolutely gorgeous. The Juicy Couture Lock Gossip Hobo has a zip top closure and is actually quite roomy being that it has a width of eighteen inches and a height of twelve inches. I love how the handbag has a slouchy shape to it, to me that makes any hobo have that extra edge compared to the rest out there.
The Juicy Couture Lock Gossip Hobo bag maybe pretty but, as most pretty bags, it comes with a price tag. The handbag is priced at $450, which in my opinion is too much for a handbag made outside of France or Italy. But I cannot deny the fact that this handbag is gorgeous, I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. The Juicy Couture Lock Gossip handbag comes in Black, Neutral and Sage. All of the colors look beautiful on this handbag, but my personal favorite is the Sage! So pretty that it probably won’t be around for long!
Michael Kors Rehearsal Drawstring Handbag
When most people over at TBF talk about Michael Kors handbags, they are usually talking about the handbags from the MICHAEL Michael Kors line. This less expensive line offers some really great styles that are very reasonably priced. It seems as though it isn’t very often that people talk a the regular Michael Kors Collection handbags. So when I saw this bag today, I thought it would be a nice handbag to feature as a blog post. Meet the Michael Kors Rehearsal Drawstring Bag. This luxurious leather handbag is made in Italy. The leather is so soft and supple, you think it is just going to melt in your hands! I love the slouchy shape and the shiny silver hardware. And the drawstrings on each side of the bag add an adorable touch. I can honestly say, I really like this handbag. The only thing I dislike is that ugly price tag. The Michael Kors Rehearsal Drawstring Bag goes for just under $1,600. I don’t know about all of you gals out there, but when you’re used to the MICHAEL Michael Kors prices, it is hard to fathom paying twice as much for a handbag from his more luxurious line. Too bad, it really is a beauty.

Juicy Couture Lock Gossip Hobo Bag
Have you gals seen the latest products Coach has to offer? I’ve always found interest in the brands infamous Legacy line, especially in their leather goods. Chunky brass hardware and thick leathers have always been Coach details that I admire, which leaves no secret to why I truly dig the Legacy Top Handle bag. I’m not a typical Coach fanatic and I tend to browse their latest products out of curiosity in finding a stunning item, such as this bag. The giant flap top, the turn lock, and the versatile bronze hue are great! I love how much detail Coach applied to this bag, yet it’s not too hectic. Although this bag does seem pretty heavy and might cause pain or bruising to the crook of your arm, don’t give up just yet, a handy detachable shoulder strap can be found on this piece for your health convenience! This bag is really convincing, but what’s keeping me from buying it? It’s the retail price tag, as I’m definitely not feeling the $758 price tag. I think I’ll just wait until some spectacular sale goes on… that’s if I don’t find something else I want. Ladies, what’s your input on this Coach bag?
