Introducing: Dooney and Bourke Mini Bubble
I have a new address, a new location where I have been spending endless hours of the day. Where? I have been living at Nordstrom’s and all of the unique boutiques located throughout the city. And oh my, have you seen the new Dooney and Bourke Mini Bubble Line? Last week while at Nordy’s I discovered this hot mini bubble newbie and I could not get it out of my mind. Rarely do I ever obsess over DB line, with the exception to the new casual Annalisa Leather Collection but with this line I can not resist. The new line comes in soft pastel spring colors with bold mini bubble speckled all around.

The cute pastel colored polka dot DB bags are available in Celery, Cocoa, Cream / Black, Lavender, Multi Color, Pale Yellow, Pink or Sky. With a price range of $40 for a super cute wristlet to around $225 for a Small East/West Slouch (currently available).

New Pauric Sweeney Spring ‘08 Bags
Our friends over at Net-a-porter just alerted me that they have a new handful of fresh Pauric Sweeney designer purses ready for the picking.

About Pauric Sweeney: The one-time architecture student, Pauric Sweeney, launched his designer handbag collection in 2005 out of London’s Brick Lane, but in the summer of that year the designer moved his atelier to Florence, Italy, to work closely with prestigious Italian tanneries and master craftsmen. Now his signature pieces of arm candy can be spotted in the hands on hollywood’s fashion-conscious customers, such as Lindsay Lohan, Kate Bosworth, Kate Winslet and Madonna. Lindsay Lohan was our first starlet to be spotted with a Pauric Sweeney bag.

Marc Jacobs Newbie! The Leather Shopper looks to me, well, just looks a little too plain - like a shopping tote, certainly not worth the price tag $750. Maybe it’s the simple and plain design, but I thought this bag was from Marc’s less expensive junior label the Marc by Marc Jacobs line. Surely though, there are a few other minor details to make this bag cost so high. . .Marc Jacobs braided shoulder strap tote features grained leather with the “Marc Jacobs” topstitching lettering on the front. The interior is lined with dark grey textile lining with a large snap-detachable leather zip pocket. Measurements of this shopping tote are 14″ x 14.5″ x 6″.

Emilio Pucci | 60TH Anniversary | View!
WWD Reports - Pucci will celebrate its 60th anniversary next year with the launch in February of a limited-edition collection of four iconic designs from the company’s archives that were personal favorites of Emilio Pucci.

“There is such a strong interest for vintage, so we thought, Why shouldn’t we remake some of our original pieces ourselves?” said Laudomia Pucci, image director for the brand and daughter of the designer. “There is a great momentum with the new collections designed by Matthew Williamson, but we also wanted to underscore the roots of the brand and to wholly re-create the spirit of those times.”

The four pieces, originally designed in the mid-Sixties, will be launched for spring and will be labeled Collectibles: a silk jersey long-sleeved dress, a cotton shantung shirtdress, a silk jersey romper and a silk twill handbag in the shape of a jewelry box. Prices range from $1,700 for the handbag to $2,200 for the Bubbles dress.

Pucci, which is now owned by LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, will produce from 200 to 300 units of each piece, marked with a special “Emilio Pucci - Florence, Italy” tag. In a nod to the Pucci atelier tradition, the labels will be color-coordinated depending on the fabric: green lettering for silk items, blue for cotton items. “We’ve called back old seamstresses to use the same original techniques my father employed,” explained Pucci, noting how each piece is identical to its archive original. Case in point: The prints are placed on each piece so the pattern seamlessly covers the whole garment. - Luisa Zargani at wwd
