Head on over to the Zac Posen section over at eLuxury (dot com), they just got in some new items. While I was browsing the Posen newbie’s, I noticed this clutch. Where shall I begin? First of all, I want to address the fact that the name of this piece doesn’t match the clutches features at all. This Posen piece is named the Rose Clutch. Hmm… an accessory with a name like ‘Rose Clutch’ should appear a bit more feminine, don’t you all think? I don’t know how you bagistas feel about this accessory, but personally, this particular piece reminds me of a Transformer of some sort. It must be all those geometric shape features and its sharp edgings; and the new “Z‿ logo (found right in the middle of the bag) isn’t so appealing to me, either. Although I feel that this bag is a bit too complex for my taste, I can name a couple of great features found on this Posen, too. Zac Posen dresses many of its bags in great leather, and this clutches grained nappa leather seems incredibly smooth. I admire its grey suede lining as well, and the clutches flat base is also a plus in my book! The ‘Rose Clutch’ definitely sports a distinctive but cool design. So, what do you ladies think? Would you carry this clutch?

You know that you really have a problem when you find yourself smuggling purchases in to the house when your husband isn’t home. I sure have one! Here is my typical post-shopping routine:

I usually put stuff in the trunk of my car and wait until the next day when he goes to work. I’ll go out, gather up my loot, hurry it all in to the house, and fit a place to hide it. If its a handbag, I usually take it out of the sack and place it among my other bags in the closet. Yep, it will blend in there. Right? Oh, and I must not forget to hide the receipts and intercept any bills that could be coming to the house. Now I just have to wait a little while so that when I do use the new bag, I can truthfully say that its not “brand new”.

I think my problem is that I just buy too much stuff in general. I love shopping and its especially fun when I track down a bag I have been craving. Lately though, I thought maybe I need to find a cheaper way to satisfy my urges. Okay, okay, I could just stop buying stuff. But what fun would be in that? So I came up with another solution! Pictured above are some designer handbags that won’t break the bank! That’s right, they are all $250 or less. Best of all, I tried to cover a wide variety of tastes. That means that there should be something for everybody!

This is also a perfect solution for college students and stay-at-home moms that might be on a tight budget. It is pretty difficult finding designer bags for $250 or less, but as you can see, it was possible!

Along with the excitement after purchasing a brand spankin’ new designer bag comes worry and the fear of getting it dirty, especially when you’ve spent a bundle. And although we should just use our bags and enjoy them without carrying those anxieties on dirtying them, many of us just can’t. So our beautiful bags end up staying in their boxes and dustbags unable to come out and play.

Well, recently I purchased the Louis Vuitton Lockit Horizontal. As soon as I got it, I was so worried about all of that white vachetta because there is a lot of it! And what especially stressed me out was the leather bottom. My first thought was “how in the world am I going to keep all of that leather clean???” I mean, after spending all of that money there was no way I was going to let dirt, stains, and water get on the surface of the delicate vachetta scattered all over my new baby.’

So, I finally decided to try Wilsons Leather and Suede Protector, after hearing about it from tBFer and blogger, Deysa. Anyways, I bought the biggest can they had for 10 bucks at my local Wilsons store. The employee at the store told me to spray it twice with 20 minutes in between each spray. And he said that would be good for about 6 months. So I followed through with exactly what he said. The end result left me amazed. I sprayed my bag a lot and the vachetta turned dark for about 5 seconds and it dried so quickly back to its original white-looking state. And the other night, I brought my Lockit out for the first time and I accidentally got a few drops of water on the handles. But there were no water marks to be found!!! I am totally impressed with this product and for $10, its worth every penny! So there is no need to worry anymore with Wilsons Leather & Suede Protector.
