The search for a super-affordable and simply glamourous evening clutch has come to an end. The new Structured Silk Clutch by Nordstrom is the perfect grab-and-go accessory to carry in the evening or even sport during the day. I love everything about this little purse including the low price tag of $78. Now that is definitely a steal!
These are available in cobalt, black, champagne, and fuchsia. I think every color is great whether you want to carry one for evening wear or add a vibrant hue to your outfit for during the day. I’d say that the cobalt would have to be my favorite, but I do love them all. I could definitely see how the cobalt or fuchsia would be a great little accessory to compliment a nice summer dress, for example.
I really admire every detail on this clutch including it’s minaudiere structure, woven silk, and drop-in chain strap, which is great if you want your hands free. What’s also great about them is the kiss-lock closure, which adds a classic detail, and the interior card slot for quick, visible access to your credit cards.
Out of all the high-end designer goods I recognize and know, it seems to me that the House of Fendi has the biggest passion for adding “stuff‿ to their goods. For example, Fendi designs a handbag, then Fendi throws on random materials onto its bag. Overall, some of their stuff is just plain awkward, but the majority of Fendi’s creations are pretty chic and unique.
While browsing around on the good ole’ Net-A-Porter (dot com), I spotted yet another unique creation by Fendi, meet the Patchwork Tote. Such a simple name for such a detailed bag. A variation of monogrammed F’s make up the totes body, while patches of dyed pony hair overlap and give the bag some serious character. Fendi applied pretty two-toned leather, which can be found throughout the bag. It was actually a really nice detail to add since it complimented nicely with the tote’s color scheme.
When I hear the word “tote‿, my first impression is an oversized shoulder bag, definitely not this Fendi bags shape. But the rectangular shape is great and gives off a true sophisticated look. So what do you ladies think about this Fendi? Would you wear it?

Typically Christian Louboutin is known for his shoe designs. Oh boy, does he know how to design shoes! Those trademark red leather soles make his line unmistakable. So what happens when Christian Louboutin designs a handbag? He’s been doing it for quite some time now, but I have to be honest, I don’t think his handbag designs have quite the same “kick” as his shoe designs do. Let’s take a look at the Loubounight Laminato Clutch I have pictured above, for example. Its a whimsical little evening bag made of gorgeous nappa leather. Its even topped with his signature clasp which is shaped like a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes (complete with red soles). I like the ruched body of this bag and the gorgeous red lining. I even like the color pictured here, which is called Pewter. And yet, something seems to be missing from this bag. Is the design too simple? Does it need some sort of adornment? I really can’t seem to place my finger on it. I guess for now, it will just have to be cute enough just the way it is. What do you all think?
